Anzac Bridge in Sydney

The Anzac Bridge is one of Sydney's newer landmarks. It spans Johnstons Bay and provides a critical link between Sydney's CBD and the western suburbs. It replaced the old Glebe Island bridge and initially adopted that name but the bridge was renamed Anzac Bridge to honour the memory of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps who served in World War I.
